Bureaucracy: Errata, Ephemera, Etc.

Work as if you were in the early days of a better nation. Beautiful work from Hoefler & Frere-Jones. The most fitting post-election sentiment we’ve seen yet.

The After Deadline Quiz: edit The New York Times. Even The Times admits its susceptible to grammatical blunders and usage slips. Can you find the errors in these problematic passages?

The Double Reverse Bradley Effect. Probably the final days for That’s Right Nate, one of my favorite tongue-in-cheek conservative blogs… at least until the next election.

Andrew Bird + Yo-Yo Ma = String-based Awesomeness. It doesn’t get too exciting until Bird breaks into his signature whistling and plucking, but considering it’s an impromptu jam (is it still called a jam if you use classical instruments?), I’d say Bird and Ma sound pretty sharp.

Quantum of Solace premieres in London. Set for a November 14 release date, the early reviews are mixed, but the general consensus promises a shorter, darker action flick.
