A preview of Paul Pope’s upcoming comic, Battling Boy, about a Hercules-esque teenager tasked with ridding the monsters from a continent-sized city called, well, Monstropolis. Sounds like a tough job. Pope’s incredibly drawn Batman: Year 100 was an intriguing twist on an old favorite, and I’m excited to see what he can do with this new and refreshingly straightforward character.
