We’d like to apologize for our recent downtime. We had some server issues and lost about two weeks worth of posts. Luckily, we figured out how to get them back, but after the inadequate performance of our former web host, we’ve decided to fork out a little extra cash to upgrade to the renowned Media Temple. Hopefully we won’t have any more trouble in the future, and we’ll continue to publish punctually every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
On the positive side, the Bureau has received a bit of attention lately, for which we are extremely grateful. We watched, slack-jawed, as the hits poured in from links to “Indie Rock T-Shirts That Would Never Sell” and Nick’s response to the announcement of Radiohead’s new album, “‘Rainbows’ Reveals a Brighter Tomorrow.” (By the way, I’m currently in love with In Rainbows.)
So for all you new readers, Nick and I have selected a few of our favorite articles from The Bygone Bureau’s expansive four month archive. Enjoy.
- The Great E-Dating Experiment
- Fuck the Grand Canyon
- Smart Design
- Taiwan: He Mama’s Ice
- My Summer Affair with Alton Brown or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Food Network
